💬 What Clients Are Saying

For over 35 years, Michael Lamb and Lamb Studios Online have helped students discover their talents, prepare for auditions, and develop their skills, confidence, and creativity.

Many of our students have gone on to perform on Broadway, appear on television and film, earn acceptance into some of the most prestigious universities in the country, and build successful careers as professional performing artists.

Here’s what some of our students and families have shared about their experience:

Testimonials

“Mr. Lamb is an outstanding instructor, mentor, and human being. We have worked with Michael and Lamb Studios for 15 years and have utilized private coaching, audition preparation, college admission planning, and consulting services. Michael is professional, knowledgeable, capable, and resourceful. The sessions are comprehensive, customized, and organized based on immediate and long-term goals.”

Kelly K.

“Michael Lamb is a fantastic acting coach. He is not only an excellent teacher, but he is also a consummate professional. He gives an honest opinion of talent and advises the best way forward for each student. I heartily recommend Michael Lamb to anyone who is seriously searching for expert talent assessment and development.”

Matt H.

“My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Michael Lamb. We have never regretted a penny we have spent sending her there. She has learned so many wonderful skills that extend beyond the stage and the mechanics of acting, singing, etc. I highly recommend it!”

Jennifer W.

Mr. Lamb has helped my daughter in so many ways over the last 13 years. Not only has he helped her with vocal and acting lessons, but he's also helped her find her confidence on stage and off. As a parent, I'm especially appreciative of that!

Stacey F.

“I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lamb when I was younger and again, recently, as an adult. Mr. Lamb is very professional, kind, and funny and cares a lot about his students and their success. I would recommend him to anybody who is looking to work on their vocals or acting or who needs practice for an upcoming audition.

Theresa W.

“While he has also worked with other teachers and coaches in voice and performance, Michael has by far given him the best groundwork and continued instruction to prepare him for whatever he needs. Michael has a great nature, he teaches very well to all levels, and he really cares. Thank you, Michael!

   📜 Studio Policies & FAQ's

When will I know my weekly lesson time?

Once registration is complete, someone from Lamb Studios will contact you to review available lesson times. Thirty‑minute lessons are held on Tuesdays (mid‑afternoon to early evening) and Saturdays (late morning to mid‑afternoon), and 45‑minute lessons are held Thursdays and Fridays between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The more flexible you are about your availability range rather than requesting a single specific day/time, the better we can accommodate your schedule; please note that available times may vary.

Who will my teacher be?

Your private instructor will be Michael Lamb. With nearly 35 years of experience, Michael has taught and developed talent across all ages and skill levels. He is also a professional director and educator, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to your learning experience.

.

Can I work on singing and acting in my lessons?

Yes, you can work on both singing and acting. The lessons are fluid and flexible, tailored to the student’s needs. Michael Lamb has extensive experience helping students prepare for auditions, whether for school chorus, All-State chorus, plays, musicals, or other presentations, so the lessons adapt to support your goals.

Being part of Lamb Studios, do I get to be part of The Studio Room?

Yes! Being part of Lamb Studios includes access to the studio room, a once-a-month group class on Zoom where students can share what they’re working on and receive feedback from Michael Lamb, and gain experience performing pieces or monologues in front of others; attendance is not required but is encouraged. Occasionally the studio room will feature surprise performing-arts guest artists—Michael Lamb has previously brought Broadway performers and Tony Award nominees to events and performance programs—while this won’t be regular, these special appearances may happen from time to time.

Can I change my weekly lesson time? What if I miss my appointment?

Once your lesson time has been assigned, it’s fixed for that day and time each week. Our subscription is for regular weekly lessons (an ongoing, assigned weekly time) with limited schedule flexibility.

If you miss your scheduled lesson, the time is lost — lessons cannot be made up. That’s why we offer Studio Room sessions as an additional opportunity for practice and feedback.

Some months there are three lessons (due to planned breaks such as a few national holidays, Thanksgiving week, the week between Christmas and New Year’s, and a one-week summer break in August). Other months have five lessons. Over the course of the year, it balances out and is already factored into your subscription.

If you’re looking for more flexibility with scheduling, we encourage you to consider our coaching packages instead of the monthly subscription..

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel with 30 days written notice. There is no long-term contract, but we do ask for an initial three-month commitment. We hope that students who sign up for lessons will stick with it, as consistent practice is the best way to grow and develop skills.

Whether you’re starting your journey or preparing professionally, Lamb Studios Online can help you grow in skill, confidence, and creativity — all from home!
